Sushi is the seventh episode of Season 18 and the seventh episode of the Om Nom Cafe era of Om Nom Stories.
Description[]
When Sensei Tanuki orders sushi, impatient Om Nom struggles with the recipe. It seems that he needs some guidance from the master! Sensei will teach Om Nom the skills, but most importantly, the power of zen! This is how you make a perfect sushi roll!
Plot[]
Om Nom is making sushi for Sensei Tanuki, but the seaweed keeps sticking to him. This makes Om Nom furious, and when he delivers it to Sensei Tanuki, Nibble Nom notices how sloppily Om Nom made it. The filling falls off the seaweed, so Sensei Tanuki rejects the sushi, and is invited into the kitchen. He shows Om Nom how to put the rice on the seaweed, but when Om Nom tries to take the rice out of the bowl, it sticks. Om Nom falls over, and is livid once again, so he slams the rice onto the sushi and it gets on Sensei Tanuki and Nibble Nom. Sensei Tanuki then shows Om Nom how to cut the cucumber, but when Om Nom tries to do so, a fly disturbs him. Om Nom tries to swat the fly, but he is unable to do so, and furiously slams his hand on the cucumber, but it slips and starts ricocheting over the kitchen, nearly hitting Om Nom and Nibble Nom before Sensei Tanuki catches it with chopsticks. He then shows Om Nom how to assemble the sushi and cut it, but when Om Nom rolls it, it unrolls itself, so Om Nom aggressively tries to roll the sushi before giving up entirely. Sensei Tanuki and Nibble Nom encourage him to meditate, so Om Nom tries to do this, only to be interrupted by the fly. He tries again, and this time, it is successful, and he make the sushi efficiently, and gives it to Sensei Tanuki, who enjoys it.

- This is the second appearance of Sensei Tanuki. The first one was Master Nom and the last was Nuts For Coco.
