Om Nom: Merge formerly Merge Nommies is a Nommie-Merging game that was soft-launched in March 25, 2019 and was released to the world in 28 November, 2019.
The Basics[]
Once you start playing the game, you will be presented with a screen looking like this:
Then a couple of seconds later, you’ll be presented with an excited Om Nom with a green apple and a strawberry, along with the words: loading… on a blue background.
And after the loading, there will be a clip showing Om Nom chasing a candy which, leads him to a forest full of fruits, and he makes the excited noise and whistles, a lot of Nommies pop up and the clip ends. [1] time stamp is: 0:05-0:21 Once when the clip is over, you’ll be presented with a 1 blue, 5 slots and a short tutorial.
As you’ll get more further into the game, there will be The Nursery & Hatchery, Nature’s Gift, 5 extra slots, 5 need to be bought with gems slots, The Nommie Shop, Goals, Tournament, Om Nom’s abilities, the bosses, chests, Fast Gifts, Gold Boosts, More Stronger Nommies, Gold ,Upgrades ,Premium Presents and Temporary Free Nommie Offers.
The Currency[]
There are 3 types of currencies in the game. Those currencies are:
Gold or coins: This type of currency is used only for buying Nommies. You can obtain it from your Nommies eating the fruit, The Tournament (if you came 3rd to 10th), the daily quests, the bonuses, Nature’s gift, offline earnings,
Gems: This type of currency is very special and has many uses—— it can be used to buy extra nests for 30, 60, 90 and 120 gems respectively; buy the better Nommie from the temporary free Nommie offers for just 3 gems, add 2 minutes to the gold boost, Instant Hatching in the Hatchery, buy Om Nom’s ability to make the Nommies hungrier for 15 gems (if you haven’t bought it yet or just beginning to play), extra slots permanently (1st es: 5 gems, 2nd es: 15 gems 3rd es: 50 gems, 4th es: 100 gems the cost of the 5th es is unknown.), Fast Gifts for 1 minute costs 4 gems, buying your most strongest Nommie (Depends how powerful your Nommie is) and Instant Evolving your power up Nommies. You can obtain it by claiming your daily gems in the shop (gives you 3 gems) or collecting it from a Bonus Balloon (Rare chance) (gives 3 gems)
Magic Dust: They appear like the Power star in the Cut the Rope series. It’s only used for buying eggs in the hatchery. You can obtain it by merging your Nommies and the Nature’s gift.
The Nursery & The Hatchery[]
The Nursery icon appears with 3 baby Nommies.
Once when you click on the icon, you will see all the “power up” or “mini” Nommies. there are a total of 8 “power up” or “mini” Nommies, those are: Cacto, Zaur, Pinko, Rocko, Icy, Greent, Mechus and Spark.
The Hatchery icon appears with an egg with light blue spots.
The Hatchery icon only appears when you’re in the Nursery.
Once when you click on the egg icon, you will see a nest.
If you had enough magic dust, (500 to be exact) you can by an egg. Depending on how rare it is, the longer for it to hatch (.e.g. Cacto is a common and would be hatched in 1 hour and Spark is a legendary which takes a whopping 3 days!)
The Fruits[]
The Fruits are basically the antagonists in Om Nom: Merge and your Nommies eat them. The fruits are:
Apple, Banana, Watermelon, Strawberry, Cherry and Grapes.
The Bosses[]
The Bosses are giant fruits but are tough to defeat. The boss fruits’ names are:
Apple Anthony, Banana Bruce, Cherry Cheryl, Gary Grapes, Strawberry Sally and Waltermelon.
The Tournament and Goals[]
You click on the trophy icon to open the Goals & Tournaments window. There are 2 tabs: Goals and Tournament
The Goals get you prizes if you complete certain objectives. The prizes are coins/gold or gems. The Daily Quests only have 2 objectives. The prize for completing the 1st objective is Gold/Coins. The prize for completing the 2nd objective is some gems.
The tournament placings are measured by how many gold/coins per seconds (gold boosts don’t count). If you came 1st, you get 4 gems, if you came 2nd, you get 4 golden presents, if you came 3rd, you get a huge amount of gold/coins and if you came 4th-10th, you only get a small amount of gold/coins. The minimum place on the tournament is 10th place and the max is obviously 1st place.
The Nommie Shop and The Upgrades[]

You click on the Nommie icon at the bottom of the screen to open the Nommie shop and Upgrades window.
The Nommie shop just buys Nommies using your gold or gems (if it is your 1st, 2nd or 3rd highest Nommie), and that’s all.
The Upgrades will only unlock when you unlock all 49 Nommies. The Upgrades are currently unknown.
The Presents[]
There are a total of 5 types of gifts/presents in the game. Those are:
Free gifts[]
The Free Gift would appear on your Nommie slots every 10 seconds or if you activate the fast gifts power up. The Nommie you will get depends on what your most powerful Nommie is (.e.g. Your most powerful Nommie is Walmy (Rare) and the Nommie you will get from the gift is either a Enti (Rare), Doo (Epic) or a Bom Nom)
Bought Gifts[]
The Bought Gift doesn’t appear randomly, they appear in your Nommies slots when you buy a Nommie. You buy the Nommie you want from The Nommie Shop.
Golden Presents[]
You can obtain Golden Presents by collecting it from a Bonus Balloon in a quantity of 4 or getting it from the Nature’s Gift in a quantity of 4 or 5 or claim it as the 2nd prize in the gold boost. The Golden Present gives an a-little-above-average Nommie (.e.g. Your most powerful Nommie is Walmy (Rare) and the Nommie you will get from the present is either a Enti (Rare), Doo (Epic), Bom Nom or a Roto (Rare))
Temporary Free Nommie Offers[]
You can only obtain Temporary Free Nommie Offers only when it suddenly appears in your Nommies slots. This Temporary Free Nommie Offer Gift Box gives you 2 options the first one is for free and the 2nd offer with a higher level Nommie that you can get for free with an ad or 3 gems. (.e.g. Your most powerful Nommie is Walmy (Rare) and the Nommie you will get from the higher offer is Octos. And your normal, completely free one is Doo (Epic).) After when you get one of those two nommies, a bought gift will appear on your nommies slots.
Premium Presents[]
This type of present is VERY, VERY, RARE, this present is SO rare that there is only 2 (formerly 3) ways to get it! The way you can get it is to get it from the Nature’s Gift (very rare chance)(in quantities of 3), or add 10-12 minutes to your gold boost time effect (by the way that it costs 18 gems to get that 1 Premium Present!). Formerly, there was used to be another way get it is the daily Premium Present (which was where the Nursery was) but sadly, it got removed for an unknown reason.
Om Nom’s Abilities[]
There are 2 abilities. Those are:
Rain/Storm[]
When you activate this ability, it increases the amount of fruit spawning. You automatically get the ability when you initially play the game.
Hungry[]
When you activate this ability, it increases the speed of your Nommies eating. You get the ability when you buy it for 15 gems.
Other Power-ups[]
There are 2 other power-ups other than the abilities and they are:
Gold Boost[]
The Gold Boost icon appears as a golden apple. If you click on the golden apple icon, you’ll see an empty curved bar with prizes on every 2 sections. There are a total of 6 sections. The first prize is a big pile of gold/coins. The second prize is 4 golden presents. And the ultimate third and last prize is the premium present. You can add 2 minutes to your gold boost effect by either watching an ad or pay 3 gems or, if possible, get it from the Nature’s Gift (either get 2 or 12 minutes). The maximum time of your effect is 12 minutes.
Fast Gifts[]
The Fast Gift icon appears as a Fast Forward icon under it saying “x10”. When you click on the icon, you will see a window with the free gift icon and a tag that says “1000% Faster!” And the quote under it that says: “Receive SUPER FAST GIFTS for 60 seconds!” You can get 60 seconds of fast gifts by either watch an ad or pay 4 gems.
The levels[]
There are 3 types of Levels, those are:
Forest levels[]
There are probably infinite forest levels. The Forest Levels icon are on the top-middle of your device and appear as square shaped bubbles.
Xp levels[]
There are probably infinite xp levels. Your xp level icon is just at the bottom of your Magic Dust amount. You get awarded with a few gems when you pass each level.
Nommie levels[]
There are only 49 Nommie levels, the Nommies can vary from Normal version to Rare and Epic versions (like Blue as levels 1, 4, and 12, Snailbrow as levels 2, 8 and 20, Toss as levels 3, 11 and 16, Lick as levels 5, 15 and 24, Doo as levels 6, 19 and 27, Boo as levels 7, 23 and 35, Enti as levels 9, 26 and 41,) Most Nommies only have a Normal and Rare Version (like Roto as levels 10 and 29, Kamo as levels 13 and 36, Totty as levels 14 and 38, Faps as levels 17 and 39, Walmy as levels 18 and 40, Belobob as levels 21 and 44, Blazek as levels 22 and 34, Trant as levels 25 and 46, Bom Nom as levels 28 and 49, Puffs as levels 30 and 32, Octos as levels 31 and 45, Lilo as levels 33 and 43, Hedgeward as levels 37 and 48 and Jojo as levels 42 and 47.).
