Mad Tea Party is the second episode of season 4 of Om Nom Stories.
Description[]
In this episode, Om Nom jumps into the rabbit hole, becomes small again and learns what karma is.
Plot[]
Om Nom is having a picnic and decides to eat a candy. However, the candy moves before he has a chance, so Om Nom touches it. The candy grows arms and legs and starts running, so Om Nom runs after it, and is hindered when the candy jumps down a rabbit-hole. Om Nom also jumps into it, and falls onto a long table set out under the tree in front of the house. He walks to the dish with the candy, and touches it. The candy grows arms and legs and starts running again, so Om Nom chases it. He gets stuck in a jelly and eats his way out, then the candy knocks the apples off a plate. Om Nom jumps on one and overtakes the candy. He then crashes into two cakes, giving him a hat each. After that, Om Nom trips on a teapot and falls off the apple, allowing the candy to run away. Om Nom continues chasing when he is startled by a spotlight. The candy, now with a hat and a cane, does a small dance, then brings out a cupcake. It throws the cupcake into Om Nom's mouth, but he turns into an infant, allowing the candy to chase him. However, it is revealed that it is a dream. Om Nom is relieved that it is, but he notices the candy, and checks to make sure that it is not simply a layer of another dream. It is not, so Om Nom eats the candy and is relaxed, until a nose and mouth appear in midair, unnerving Om nom.

Trivia[]
- The episode is based on Mary Shelley's Alice in Wonderland .
- When Om Nom smashes through cakes, the cakes made him look like two Alice in Wonderland characters: The Mad Hatter and The Queen of Hearts.
- Om Nom's infant model would later be used for Nibble Nom starting from season 15. (The next preseason 15 is Unexpected Guest.)
- Several of Om Nom's animations are recycled from episodes animated by Toonbox:
- His animation used when he chases the candy the first time is a modified version of his Middle Ages ancestor's animation when he chases him.
- Two of his animations are recycled from Junkyard:
- When he gets to the rabbit hole, his animation is recycled from the scene where he gets to the edge of the canyon. It is used again when he starts chasing the second time.
- When he touches the dish with the candy, his animation is a modified version of his animation from the scene where he waves at Blue.
- His animation used when he is walking along the table is his walking animation from Underground.
- Two of his animations are recycled from Fruit Market:
- His animation used when he rolls the apple is recycled from the scene where he rolls the orange.
- His animation used when he swallows the candy is reused from the scene where he eats the candy.
- His animation used when he gets startled by the spotlight is recycled from The Stone Age when the creature reveals itself.
- His animation used when he wakes up is recycled from Home Sweet Home when he wakes up.
- The second round of a giveaway was held for the week of the release for this episode for a chance to win Cut the Rope: Magic magnets. To join, the viewer had to comment the location of the hidden object, like the video and subscribe, and the winner was selected randomly.
