Good Manners, also known as Being a good friend is important! is the sixth episode of Season 23 and the thirty-sixth episode of the New Neighbors era of Om Nom Stories.
Description[]
Om Nom can be well-mannered even if he can’t say ‘Hello’, ‘Please’, and ‘Thank you’. It really is easy! A friendly smile and attention to the needs of neighbors and friends is all that he needs to have good manners. He is rewarded with beaming smiles and love all around. Helping friends is great!
Plot[]
Giant is taking his toys outside, but he drops a beach ball, trips on it and spills his toys. Thankfully, Om Nom appears, and he finds everything and puts them back in the box.
Om Nom and Nibble Nom notice a puddle, so Om Nom steps in it and carries Nibble Nom over. Then, Handsome appears, and Om Nom does the same to him, but it turns out that they want to do it again several times in a row.
Om Nom is exhausted after running, so he sits down on a bench, but Handsome is also exhausted after running, so Om Nom allows him on the bench. Om Nom does not know what to do now, but Handsome styles his hair into a chair, and puts Om Nom on it.
Grandma is waiting at the traffic light, and the red, yellow and green lights appear to remind her of Groom, Handsome and Om Nom, respectively.
Starrah is bringing art supplies into her house, so Om Nom opens the door for her, and he does the same for Grandma. He does the same for Handsome and lets him in first, but he wants Om Nom to go in first, and this carries on until they give up and resort to going in at the same time.
Om Nom wants to give high-fives to people, and he gives some to Handsome and Groom, before jumping up and giving one to Giant.
Om Nom wants to eat an apple, and Nibble Nom wants one too, so Om Nom cuts a slice and gives it to Nibble Nom. However, Baby Angry, Grandma, Handsome, Scientist Nom, and Groom want apple slices as well, and when Om Nom gives them out, all he has left is the core, but thankfully, Giant gives him a big apple.
