Game or Reality!? is the eighth episode of Season 24 and the fifty-fourth episode of the New Neighbors era of Om Nom Stories.
Description[]
All of a sudden mobile games blur the line between fantasy and reality for Om Nom. And there he is… chasing an UFO through his neighborhood, hunting for apples in Cut the Rope virtual reality, trying on some very fancy outfits created by the wave of a mysterious hand. Not everything goes as planned though… But there is no need to worry! Whenever Om Nom faces challenges or feels a bit down, his friends are always around to lend a helping hand!
Plot[]
Om Nom and Nibble Nom are washing plates, but they get distracted by a UFO, and Om Nelle watches as they try to clean the UFO.
Om Nom wants to get an apple that is trapped in a bubble, but there is no viable way to get it to him. The "player" brings in Handsome and bursts the bubble, but when Handsome tries to pass the apple to Om Nom, he makes it go too far. The "player" brings in Giant to act as a wall while Handsome launches the apple to Om Nom, who splits the apple into three pieces and gives one piece each to Handsome and Giant.
Om Nom is collecting apples falling from the sky, but he sees two apples to his left and right, so he spins around with his tongue out to take the apples.
The "player" gives Om Nom body parts that are similar to other characters.
Nibble Nom is playing a driving game, but the device's battery has run dry, so he jumps on Om Nom and uses the device to "drive" him.
The "player" makes some characters grow in the shapes of various fruits on a tree.
Om Nom is collecting stars, but the third one is out of reach, so he eats an apple to make himself grow big enough to reach the star.
