Magic Box is the fourth (and previously the seventh) box the player gains access to in Cut the Rope. It was released on April 5, 2011 as the seventh box but was changed to be the fourth in a later update. The box's main gimmick is Magic Hats, which act like the socks in Cut the Rope: Holiday Gift.
Notable Levels[]
Level 4-1 introduces Magic Hats that teleport Candy from one hat to another with the same color.
Level 4-3 introduces the concept that candy maintains it speed whilst teleporting. This level also contains the first hidden drawing for the box.
Level 4-4 includes two pairs of hats, and much like the Blades, they are color-coded.
Level 4-21 contains the second and last hidden drawing of the box.
Level 4-25 introduces moving magic hats. The player has to time actions very carefully.

Level Design[]
The Magic Box is a dark blue color with lighter blue stars scattered about. The box also has a pattern similar to a theater curtain. There are also two spotlights in the top left and bottom right corners of the box background. These used to spin slowly in earlier versions of the game, but as of now they stay still. Om Nom's platform has a blue starry blanket, and there is also a spotlight on him.
Changes in level design[]
Level 4-11 (changes in ver. 1.6): Complete remake of the level. Due to reordering of the boxes, the Gravity Changer Button had to be removed and replaced with another level.

On completing the box, the player gets Magic Box Completed achievement. Getting three stars in each level gains Magic Box Perfect achievement.
