Board Gamer is the ninth episode of season 22 and the twenty-ninth episode of the New Neighbors era of Om Nom Stories.
Description[]
If Om Nom is taking out his board games, the fun is about to start! The stakes are high even in TicTacToe, and the challenge is harder than ever in Jenga! And, of course, Om Nom and Nibble Nom always bring the game to life as only they can!
Plot[]
Om Nom is playing Jenga with Starrah, and the former removes a block and puts it on the top of the tower. Starrah takes three and puts them on top of the tower, so Om Nom takes another block out and stacks it. Starrah then remodels the tower entirely, and Om Nom jumps onto the floor and takes the block, and the tower is remodelled again. Om Nom puts the block on the tower, but this time, the tower collapses.
Om Nom is playing another game with Nibble Nom, and they take the marbles with their frogs, when Om Nelle puts apples on the table, so Om Nom and Nibble Nom eat them in the way the frogs do in the game.
Om Nom is playing TicTacToe with Handsome, who puts an X in the top right square, and Om Nom puts an O in the top right. Handsome puts an X on the left, and Om Nom puts an O on the bottom right, and they are one square away from winning. Handsome is trying to decide if he should put an X in the bottom left, winning the game, or in the middle, giving Om Nom the opportunity to win. Om Nom is so stressed by Handsome's thinking that he faints, while Handsome continues thinking.
Om Nom is playing an operation game with Nino and Mino, who give Om Nom the pieces, and Om Nom puts them in the required places. Om Nom completes the task, but he is now hungry, so Nino and Mino give him an apple.
Om Nom is playing another game with Giant, and the former spins the spinner, and it lands on 1, so Om Nom moves his piece one space, and there is a picture of a rabbit on the space, so he becomes a rabbit. Giant spins a 2, so he moves two spaces, and there is an infant on the space, so he turns into an infant. Om Nom spins a 3, and he moves three spaces, and there is a cloud on that space, so a cloud appears and starts raining on him. Giant spins a 4, and moves to the end, so he is given a crown, but he notices Om Nom's sadness, so Giant moves Om Nom's piece to the end, giving the latter a crown as well.
Trivia[]
- This episode's intended release date was October 7, 2022. However, on that date, a video was uploaded with the episode's title, but the video was the exact same as the one from Paper Games. This issue was rectified five days later, but the original video was not deleted, and instead, was renamed into a generic compilation called "Fun Play".
