Over time, ZeptoLab did April Fool's jokes by showing things that do not exist.
2015's joke is the Invisible Box, which requires the player to collect all stars, unlock all achievements and perform a secret action involving spiders.
2018's joke was a blue nommie with two antennae, two teeth instead of four, and green eyes. ZeptoLab asked people on Facebook to give him a name and write a backstory for him, and Rebecca Chedester's story was selected. It says "Meet Monmo. He's Omnom's cousin. He doesn't like candy, but loves fried eggs. He works as a dentist and his cousin drives him crazy with all his candy eating. Monmo is the only reason Omnom has such good teeth".
